I hired UsaKitchen.com to redo the kitchen of a property I am currently renovating and they did not even complete the job! The cabinets are not aligned and there are uneven spaces between the cabinets and the walls.

They scratched up the paint on the walls and the cabinets themselves during the process of installation. Screws were left uncovered and unevenly put into place.They did a horrendous job on the trims, the wood was frayed and the paint was chipped off.

I tried to communicate with them on my issues and I was rudely disregarded. As a whole I was very unsatisfied with their work. The poor quality, terrible customer service, lack of attention, and follow-up on this company's part just weren't worth it. Save yourself the headache, and stay far away from USA Kitchen!

​How shameless this so called contractor dare writing false allegations desperate to restore his pride ...​

Edgar O. Rodriguez (the bad contractor) got into contract in February, and got $2,860 upfront as deposit, to deliver & fully install the kitchen by Mid-April 2014 but they did not show up at my house before Mid-June. I had to call him every day ​​to get his attention.​​

Other low cost companies like Ikea have better results than USAkitchen. A fly-by-night crew, yes a ​fly-by-night crew, was poorly & remotely managed by ​​Edgar O. Rodriguez of USAkitchen.com​ with a 3rd world quality standard. The​ fly-by-night crew​ rushed the installation without ​any accurate plan on hand, putting some cabinets to low over the cook-top, others were uneven, kitchen side panels ended up damaged, some doors cut too short, and some won't close still as of today, etc.... Lots were left unfinished: The drawer underneath the cook-top cannot close properly because the cook-top is in the way. We sent them the dimensions of every appliance in the kitchen so there should be no reason for this mishap.

My attitude is ​no more than ​expecting a​ custom kitchen​ company to follow through on what they promised​ to deliver​. When ​​Edgar O. Rodriguez came by the ​end of June ​asking for the payment of the balance​ in advance & before completion​​, desperately in need to pay his crew​​ (or his warehouse rent or GF car payment), I pointed out all of the discrepancies needed​ to ​be ​address​ed​ and ​all ​remaining tasks scheduled​.​   ​​
 

​​Edgar O. Rodriguez swear​ed​​ and insured me​ ​that his crew will finish it all and repair/ correct other distressed items by the end of the same week. I generously paid another $2,350 (almost 92% of the overhaul installation), holding only $500 >> Holding unfortunately NOT ENOUGH. I should have stick to the contract: "Pay contractor at completion" as ​​Edgar never kept his promises. It took me countless calls that he often ignored, chasing him all the way to his Hialeah warehouse, to finally come back 3 weeks later but just for a few hours, poorly fixing 3 of the 12​ flaws.​ ​Then this ​same ​​Edgar O. Rodriguez had the guts to tell me over the phone (not even face to face) that he is not coming back because it is all done & good.

​​​Edgar is stating in here in his reply that I have not paid the workers when in fact I paid him 9​2​% ahead of what was due, tipping $$ his installer employees each day for a positive reinforcement. He decided not to finish and left me hanging as of today Sept 25th. I will not pay the balance until the work that has been scheduled is properly done, not just glued or quickly screwed. I had to spend more money hiring a true​ professional custom installer to fix what they left undone.

Yes I currently owe 30% to one of ​​​Edgar's colleagues for the installation of a counter-top . He installed my expensive quartz counter-top not leveled, same with the island that leans like the Pisa Tower. He has the opportunity to come and fix... they have not.

The owner of this kitchen has been a very special client because he is never satisfied with the work. He has made the employees work but does not pay them; in fact, he currently owes the granite top and cabinet contractor the money for the work already provided. He has consistently asked to make corrections and then adds more and more complaints to complicate the project, and therefore delay the payment. Furthermore, he has time and time again come off with a really bad attitude when addressing to the contractors which generates mistrust. 

As a professional business we have been friendly, have tried to work with him and have tried to accommodate to his wants but his nasty attitude and manipulation tactics cannot be easily dismissed or ignored.  Part of his nasty attitude involves discriminatory threats in which he has mentioned the IRS and the immigration service to even though he knows that all of the workers are of legal working status. and therefore this comments are uncalled for. This shows his personality as a client and perhaps reveals the root motives for his lies and aggressive behavior towards the workers.

As for the pictures posted, the client only provides vague snapshots of the kitchen in which defects are clearly visible. But why not post a picture of the entire kitchen? It is indeed beautiful and we are sure many would think it is a fine job. Some of the defects on the pictures have already been corrected and some are in the process of being corrected once we have mutually agreed with the client that the money owed for our labor will be paid for. 

Over the years, UsaKitchen has gained a good reputation for our good service and good quality work and unfortunately we have now come across a rare occasion where a client expresses this kind of complaint. However, our dedication and hope come from our many satisfied customers who give us the strength to continue to grow and move forward while providing a professional service.
