 The customer service at US Direct Express will not fulfill my mother's request to have her funds sent back to the treasury at Social Security. She verified her account, and made the request because she finally realized the fees and charges were not necessary and she decided to no longer use US Direct Express. They have charged her $35 in fees in just one month. They will not do what she and Social Security have asked. They are difficult. They are an added step that is not necessary. Just have your funds sent to your bank account! Get another card! The customer service was "rude" and "nasty" to us. They hold my mother's money while the rest of the family has to pay for groceries, electricity, and water to keep her alive. US Direct Express does not care nor consider that they are dealing with people on limited income. They depend on it for their survival. They will tie up your money when you want to be done with them, and charge fees! Terrible! Please save yourself from the trouble!
