Value city - Rac Acceptance Well they are not a scam just a rip off! We joined Rac acceptance for a furniture set that we couldn't pay the amount for up front, what we didn't know was that our monthly payments weren't paying for Catonsville , Maryland
*UPDATE Employee: Hi I work at RAC
*Consumer Comment: What, EXACTLY, is RAC doing that violates the agreement you signed with them?
My husband received nasty texts from a male worker from this store and repeated messages back to back from this place of business because of him being one day late for his furniture payment! They are a rip off, we've been overpaying this company for way too long now and still owe them.... Their not scamming just ripping off people who don't already have money to throw away.....pathetic business! DONT GO through RAC acceptance through VALUE CITY.....

In what way are you being required to "overpay" them...specifically?
Rental places are very aggressive in their collection procedures.
They know they are dealing with deadbeats who can't get credit and they've heard ALL the excuses (MANY time) and don't believe any of them anymore.
IF they are violating the terms of their agreement, you have a case...I really doubt they are and you are just whining now because you failed to read the agreement before you signed it....get a life!
