Stay away from Worldwide Insurance Specialist Inc! They are the least expensive insurance quote you will get, BUT after a few months they will contact you saying their underwriter reveiwed the policy and a rate change will be necessary. In our case it was an increase of over 20% of the original rate. We argued for weeks with them, sent them documentation showing they had no justification for the increase and they simply gave us a date to pay or get cancelled. The untimatum was given to us within 48 hours. We cannot source another policy within 48 hours and hence had to pay immedeately. It was outright extortion. Unbelievable!
When our policy comes up for renewal then we will switch insurance companies ~ the next closest competitor's quote was exactly the total rate we are paying now. Worldwide put us through hell jumping hoops to prove our case and it was all for nothing.
It's an intentional bait-n-switch. They knock out the competition to offer the LOWEST rates to win your business, then extort you in three months. Cleaver way to get new customers, but it's crooky and dishonest.
