Anyone else out there getting rashes from wearing a 14 kt gold ring purchased from Zales???
Has anyone ever had their gold checked?
My wife gets a nasty rash from the gold ring. Never has happened with any other gold rings.
Any comments from anyone?

14K gold is 14 parts gold, and 10 parts other metals, so it is only about 58% gold.
It is very possible that your wife is having a reaction with one of the other metals that are in the ring. This could either be that they are using a metal that your wife is allergic to, or you usually buy a higher percentage(such as 18kt gold).
But if you don't think it is 14K gold then go have it checked out yourself. If it is then it is probably the other metals, and may be good to know for future reference. If it is not then you can go after them.
