12society Subscription Box, zero communication Internet California

 I ordered 12society for my boyfriend, as it's a subscription service tailored for men, and claims to have products picked by top entertainers and athletes, includin Nick Cannon, Michael Strahan, etc... It's fairly new, and I wasn't sure about it, but I have had tons of luck with subscription boxes I have received from other companies. The price is $39 a month, and you are supposed to get a minimum of 80 dollars in product, it used to be 125, from what I understand. My account was charged instantly, and about 3 weeks later we received the first box. MAJOR disappointment.

We had researched the prior boxes, which in no way lived up to the advertisement picture that they plaster all over their advertising, which is to be expected, but the boxes seemed decent. This one was terrible, we literally received leftovers that had appeared in prior boxes. Gatorade energy chews, some energy strips that were ina rite aid clearance bin this past week, A sweatchirt, which was 12society itself, so I am sure they placed a ridiculous value on it. 2 American crew shaving products, which yes are nice, however that was it. Really?

Well the website assured returns are accepted... all you have to do is call... ok... I called at least 20 times and received the same, phone number is temporarily unavailable try again later message. I have sent several emails which I have never gotten a response to, and no I do not count an automated "representative will contact you within 48 hours" a adequate response. I was again charged, this was almost 2 months ago now, no 2nd box, still no response, and no idea if I will be charged yet again. Stay clear of these people.
