November of 2015 this company was cleaning the roof and gutters of the condo community where I live and as they always do they just blow everything from the roof and out of the gutters and leave debris allover the stairways and decks with no regard for safety or the mess they create. Last year the day that they did my building it was raining and as I went out to talk to the the young guys and as I hit the second to the last step and I went for a spill landing on my right knee. Although I didn't do any permenant damage I was down for a couple of days and was in pain for about 6 weeks. I called and asked for the owner (Dillon) and I told him whgat happened and he said he would look into it and he seemed concerned.

Today, November 1, 2016 they are doing the same work the same way with no regard for anyone including their very young workers with no safety equipment.

My guess is that if you are looking for very cheap work and don't care about about results or safety the is you company to go with.

I am sorry to hear that your experience was with our service was not up to par for you.

At A1 Integrity we strive to ensure we are always  providing a valuable service to our customers, and take great pride in the accolades and referrals we receive from those customers – it is our favorite way to gain new customers!

I remember speaking with you about the mess on the stairs at Sequoia Park Condos and discussed our efforts to make sure that we were cleaning up any messes on the stairs and entries that we contributed to as we were cleaning the roof. Our goal is to clean up those areas quickly as we possible, but debris often falls to the ground as we are performing our job on the roof. Our crews are very aware of their responsibility to clean that shortly after we finish the work on the roof in that area. I spoke with the crew that day about making sure to perform the clean-up early rather than waiting till later in the day.  

As you know there are lots of trees and shade at the property which is why the Property Manager and the Home Owner’s Association have elected to have us on the property four times per year to keep up with gutter and roof maintenance needs. We have been the service provider here since 2012 which I believe is a testament to the service we provide gaining and retaining the trust of the decision makers for the last few years.

Of course, with a property like sequoia there are many challenges including the sheer amount debris falling on the roofs and in the gutters, as well as, moss and mildew making sidewalks and stairs slick. We have certainly had our challenges – but we have made our best efforts to address these challenges and offer the community the best value regarding the service they are getting and the price they are paying.

In regard to your situation, I am certainly sorry to hear you are unhappy and were hurt. I think that in this case the best course of action is to contact the Property Manager with your concerns – specifically, better traction on the stair treads, I do know that they are slick with algae as wood stair treads can get in the PNW during the fall. The small amount of debris from the roof that may have fallen onto those stairs should not have played a factor in slipping nearly as much as the lack of a grip strip on the stair tread.

We are very careful in our efforts to avoid making messes as we clean roofs etc, and I cannot say that we would never leave or make a mess – we have. But, we have always made our best efforts for a quick clean up. The property managers can attest to since they have reached out to us on occasion to perform those clean ups for residents.

I can assure you that our crews at A1 Integrity are actually very capable of accessing and working on roofs safely. Some of those crew members are certified to perform high access work including operating man lifts and even rappel access techniques on High Rise Buildings. Additionally, our policy is to require our workers to wear fall protection equipment whenever working at height as OSHA requires. Some of the workers are as young as 18, but they have all been given documents training in ladder safety, fall protection and are always working with crew leaders who have a significant amount of experience in the industry.

In Response to our service being a Rip – Off:

I would have to ask the Property Manager and HOA how they felt about the service we provide for the community. Our goal is to be the best: not the cheapest – There are lots of choices out there for gutter cleaning etc. Sequoia Park has chosen us for the last 5 years.
