Advanta Bank Corp. ADVANTA IN BIG TROUBLE OVERCHARGING CUSTOMERS UNFAIR RATE CHANGES AND FEES Langhorne, Pennsylvania

Advanta Bank Corp, Is taking advantage of its customer base, by changing due dates, raising intrest rates without notice or reason, and making up and charging fees that don't make any sense. They also add these fees to the higher rate and list them as Cash advances, even after they closed every account. Then to add to the wound they employ overseas telephone call centers mostly in India to harrass and continually call their excustomers with threats and rudness. These call centers will call day and nite, Saturday and Sunday with no reguard for anyone. They even call people that did not even have an Advanta account. I closed my business after Advanta closed my account and raised my interest rate from the rate I agreed to and signed which was 7.99% it is now at 29.99% so I chose to only send them $100 per payment now because they are in Chapter 11 and having a hard time with their Shareholders. When the calls come in I simply tell them I do not discuss any finances over the phone with anyone outside the US and anyone that lies about their real names. Mostly they hang up, The call center telephone operators that get any account to send a payment get a bonus, If and when I send a payment I do it online. Now they will charge you a $12.00 fee to make a payment over the phone. There are a few class action law suit being filed, but I have not seen any results yet, as Advanta sent out "Over rate/fee refund checks awhile ago, to be cashed within 120-180 days with the statement "if cashed you will not hold Advanta Bank Corp" liable in any future lawsuit. I still have my two checks. Does anyone have any new info on this Ripoff Credit Card Bank called Advanta?
