I overheard many conversations from C-Level management about employees that was very discriminatory and offensive.

Per my job I was using was one the Executives computers, and found pornographic material portraying women being bound and abused. The CEO actually unintentionally launched one of these vidoes while I was standing in their office.
I worked out of the corporate office for AIMS/PVIC. The "office" is a house that has been converted into an office. As an employee there is no "scope" of work. The Owner/CEO once told me "I pay your wage so if I need you to go outside and dig a hole then you will dig a hole". In other words you're basically their slave as soon as you're on payroll.
Their largest competitor being Pro Pipe pays their employee's anywhere between $3 - $5 more per hour for the exact same job. Pro Pipe is owned my RotoRooter, and they are not going anywhere. AIMS/PVIC though is heading towards failure. On many occassions they should have paid their employees "prevailing wages" per government contract, but have failed to do so.
I put out 60+hrs a week for a few weeks at a time (on salary) to fix projects that I had nothing to do with. If I would not have fixed these 3 projects for the company they would have lost their customers. I recouped over $40k on one project, and completed saved another $100k project but I was never once compensated or even shown real gratitude for my work and commitment.
There is even more to discuss but I think that this will suffice and hoping a lawyer reads this report soon and contacts me.

Witholding Prevailing Wages

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, May 11, 2016

First of all the inception year for the LLC is irrelevant, especially since the current owner(s) did not start the company so that point is moot.

Of course you disagree but the fact still remains that reporting the abusive speech, the pornagraphy, or the rampant employee paraphanalia abuse would do no good at all. The only result of such actions would have been my immediate termination.

As far as compensation goes, the fact of the matter is that employee's are underpaid. There have been mulitple cases where employees where supposed to be paid prevailing wages, and it wasn't until a government inspector for those contracts contacted the company and warned them about not paying their employee's appropriately according to the government contract. Did the employee's get paid properly post the phone call? Yes, but the fact still stands that if it wasn't for the inspectors involvment the company would have witheld those wages from those employees on those government contracts.

The only thing the owners of AIMS/PVIC can do to rebuttal, is to change. Adopt a sense of responsibility for the employees well-being rather then viewing them as low-wage slaves for your benefit. This isn't South Africa, this is the United States of America, the economy may be based off of capitalism but at least you could run the business with a conscience.
