Alliance Artist Management Group Inc. advertises its "call for actors" amongst local job search websites. In fact they have nothing to offer but a registration form at a cost of CAD 170 (Nov.2010) for the benefit of having Alliance as your "artistic agent".
They also will not tell you there's a second service you need to hire to use Alliance services: an e-mail service to ActorsDen at a cost of CAD 5/month. But don't worry: Alliance will tell about this "extra fee" after you register with them.
The fact is: this is a ripoff service as Alliance cannot deliver its part of the deal.
You won't receive any calls or offer for jobs because they don't have any. But the money you paid has long gone.
If you ask for a refund, Alliance will say no, even after the facts shows they are the ones not performing properly. I received not a single contact in three months... only junk mail in that "extra-paid" service that I had to contract.
Big Ripoff! Stay away!

After 30 days since I manifested my wish to cancel the agreement with Alliance Artist Management Group Inc.
After my request was denied and a complaint posted here, Mrs. Ramona contacted. She provided a full refund including the e-mail service from ActorsDen.
Mrs. Ramona also helped me to cancel the commercial link established with ActorDen, once this company wasn't willing to stop charging my bank account.
In the past weeks Mrs. Ramona demonstrated she cares about the business she is running.
Despite it didn't work for me, Alliance might work for you.
If you are looking for an agency ask questions, show your expectations and give Alliance a try.
