I posted an add on UP Work Talent search seeking an attorney to help me respond to a issue i had with my landlord, Allison in boxed me on up work stating that she is a privet attorney that she also works for a big law firm in TX and she would Draft and file through the courts in the state I lived a response to the complaint filed against me. However she needed my number to call me and discuss the case. Now  I gave her my Number, when she reached out to me it was 3:00 AM (RED FLAG) she called Back to Back so i picked up She stated she was Allison and she was sorry to call so early however she needed to get my response in ASAP to the courts so she asked me about the case and said for me to Email over to her Again the court Documents that were filed against me she gave me her email. THen she said ok NO PROBLEM! Don't worry about going through the UP Work platform anymore because I will be handling your case DIRECTLY and YOU will get more for your money cause they wont  charge you extra fees! I asked was this allowed by up work? To wich she replied it sure is they have where you can reach out to people Directly (which is true but to consult only! I later found out)  

Then she said ok listen BECAUSE we are on a time constraint I am gonna have to file this today via the courts and that is gonna cost you $1,000.00 thats my fee but I will give you a discounted rate of $800 If I could Zelle or wire her the money that day! I stated i only had $300.00 She stated that she could start the response but she could not file it and I would loose in court if I did not respond by Friday Dec 23, 2023 Mind you its the Wednesday before Christmas. So not being a person of any knowledge of the legal field I agreed and  borrowed the money from my sister and Zelled her! But I did make her to put what she was going to do in writing! To which she TEXTED me that she would Draft a Motion to stay answer the lawsuit against me file it in court and file the subsequent responses in court for my $800 (another RED FLAG)

Tuesday DEC 26th, 2023 she called me 2AM and told me she drafted the complaint she needed me to look over it ! when I proof read the document it was FULL of grammatical errors MY NAME WAS SPELLED WRONG! Case # was wrong and It did not appear to be thew proper response to what I was being sued over! When I questioned her she was apologetic and she said OH can you resend me the lawsuit they filed against you again I cant seem to pull it up? I ended up sending it to her a TOTAL OF 9 Times! She finally sent over the corrected paperwork the on Dec 28th BUT NOW SHE CLAIMED SHE NEEDED ANOTHER $400 immediately to file the claim NOW im panicking so I send it she sends me later on that day Some sort of Notice that she filed the response electronically! I am in a facebook group with other tennant going through the same issue with the Landlord! So I mention her as a resource and let her know I was doing it she says OH Great if you refer clients that I will continue to work on your case for free to which I agreed!

ONE WEEK LATER one of the people I referred to her called me and Said DEE did you do a background check on Allison? To which i said No but I had proof she worked good for me ! well they informed me to do a background check and call the courts to see if she filed my paper work 

I did and I found out She is Band from UP WORK SHE scammed her way back on the platform, she is NOT A ATTORNEY she DID NOT FILE ANY RESPONSE NOR DID SHE FILE THE CORRECT RESPONSE ON MY CASE! SHE HAD ILLegally USED my name to gain access into my court records with OUT MY PERMISSION and SHE Has SCAMMED 4 other referred group members out of over $3800. 

So I cut her off and NOW she is calling me from different numbers THREATING MY LIFE AND THREATING TO MESS UP MY COURT CASE!
