Ally Financial Inc They are messing up my credit Bloomington MN

I know because I have called in with the dealership on the phone for over a month. They made sure the payment was recieved by Ally with a reference number. Ally sat on the funds since 7/8/21 and go figure after I report them to the BBB they posted the payoff yesterday. They say it's back dated and they will send an update to all three credit agency's but I am not holding my breath since it took them this long with posting the funds. Time will tell if they FINALLY make it right!

 How do you actually know FOR A FACT the dealer sent in the pay off? Car dealers are notorious for not paying off cars on time. Without regard to that, the Ally account is YOUR account and it’s UP TO YOU to keep track of what’s going on. You are NOT off the hook until the payoff is received and if it isn’t received on time to cover the next payment, it’s YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to send in a payment so that YOU don’t generate a late payment. That’s the way it works!
