Three separate SCAMS from AMG!!!

I was first contacted by a sales rep from American Marketing Group in January 2009.  I checked the West Palm Beach BBB as of January 2009 and they had only one complaint filed at that time. Fed ID number was good.  The AMG website had positive feedback...amgtimeshares.com.  Their company had been around supposedly for 5 or 6 years...I can't remember where I read that now.  It seemed to be a good company at the time.

I paid 898.00 on 1/26/2009 on a contract by credit card.  I have a copy of the contract and FAXed pages that was sent back to me.

I have had contact on and off with AMG for the entire year of 2009 and through April 2010.

I was told when I purchased the contract from AMG there was a buyer from Canada. They had put a down payment on the property and all I had to do was pay the title search and closing costs of 898.00 and within 60 days all the paper work would be finalized and I would receive my money deposited in my checking account or a bank draft in the mail whichever i preferred.

I called many times, every 2 or 3 weeks and received many different excuses why the property hadn't sold throughout the year of 2009.  Here was my last answer from AMG in September 2009:  because it took longer than 60 days to close on the property (back in March 2009) a final credit check had to be done on the buyers and they now needed to put down an additional amount of money down because the buyers had a credit score change that was now lower than it was originally when they applied for the original loan in January 2009.  The financing was not done through AMG but a finance company contracted by AMG.  I was told for the next 7 months every time I called that AMG was waiting for the additional money on the down payment from the buyers.  September 9, 2009...I was told the buyers never did come up with the rest of down payment and therefore were going to forfeit their down payment and AMG was now going to start all over with listing the property in different showcases in different states and countries on 9/18/2009 and 9/25/2009 and 10/17/2009.  I contacted them several times in October and November but was told they had several inquiries but no offers.  The next time I heard from AMG was January 2010.

January 12, 2010 I received a call from Terry Marcus from AMG informing me they had another seller now but it was going to cost me additional money for the final closing. Like an additional $1000.00 (I think) for unused vacation weeks that had accumulated on the timeshare that I had not used to date.  This was so the unused wouldn't go to waste and I would make "more" money on the final closing for my unused weeks.  I told him he was crazy and wasn't getting any more money from me.  I had a phone number for him at 1-561-248-8464.

I have called the following phone numbers at various times and dates since January 2009 and talked to people from AMG at these numbers:  1-561-767-5036; 1-561-632-9043; 1-567-767-5036; 1-877-296-0457; 1-561-248-8464; 1-561-674-5120.  and a FAX:  1-561-242-0784.

I received another sales call 4/6/2010 and was told for $39.95 I could add pictures to my portfolio and that would help sell my timeshare by giving the pictures away at showcases so people could take them home and look at them along with the information on the timeshare to help boost sales.  Otherwise AMG only passes out information sheets with words and no pictures.  My timeshare is located at Westgate Vacation Villas, Orlando FL.  I paid the $39.95 by a debit from my checking account...however the money was sent out of the country to a private account and I was charged an additional $1.00 for the the money being deposited out side of the United States.  I don't know if that can be tracked or not?
