Wayne Isbell...Ahh where do I begin. We are a small company located in the Northern Suburbs. We need someone to come in and apoxy our floors. When Mr. Isbell showed up at our office, he seemed excited to start the job, and willing to do whatever it took to get the job. Stated he had over 35 years experiance and men to help complete the job.

Mr. Isbell then stated he could also repair some items in our kitchen area, which then turned into a compleate remodel.



Issues did not start to arrise until day 3 of the job, He did not show. No phone call, no apology just an excuse that his daughter was sick.



Day 4. Mr. Isbell demanded we pay him secound half of deposit, as Home Depot messed up and under quoted materials needed to compleat the job thus shorting him labor he should have already been paid for with first check, but according to Mr. Isbell, this money instead went to purchasing materials needed for the job. He did provide reciepts, we had seen the oversight by Home Depot and paid him second half of deposit so he could proceed with job.



Here is where Mr. Isbell showed his true self. He stated he would be back at our office to compleate the job the next day. Mr Isbell did not show up. He did not call. After repeated attempts to contact him via his cell phone (his only form of communication) he finally called into our office around 3pm in the afternoon. Again no apologies.



Wayne then came to our office reaking of Marijuana. It was then that we noticed multipule times durring the day he stated he need to leave to make a run for more supplies to Home Depot. This would occur 3-4 times a day. He was seen in his van smoking from a glass pipe. It can only be assumed he was getting high on the job. We can not prove it.We were not made aware of this until after the job had been compleated (not really but we will go with that). Wayne was constantly asking employees if he could do work on their personal homes, and would speak in great detail about work he could preform.



After Mr. Isbell stated he compleated the job, we paid him his remaining balance just to get him to leave our building. Upon reciept of payment Mr. Isbell asked if he could use our company as a referance on future jobs. We then explained this would not be wise as we were not satisfied with his work ethic. It was then that he became angry, stated he should have charged us double for his quality work.



The story does not end here. Mr. Isbell has since contacted govenment agencies as retrobution stating we did file permits in order for work to be done in our building. Building inspector came out. All electrical failed, all new appliances that were installed by Mr. Isbell failed. Dishwasher leaked. Mr. Isbell was contacted and stated it was not his fault Home Depot sold us faulty equipment. He refused to come out to correct his work.



Mr. Isbell states he does all work to IL code, this is a compleatly false statement. HE HAS NO IDEA ABOUT CODE. He loves to use wood glue on everything. He wood glued the metal foot grate for dishwasher to the dishwasher. He wood glued all plastic electrical covers. He used flex line on all electrical instatlations, even though code requires copper piping.



He loves to brag. He LIES. and then when you are unstatisfied with the job done, he tries everything in his power to make your life hard.



Mr. Isbell if you are reading this, you are a scam artist. YOU ARE INCOMPENTANT. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN! HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS DOING. He will smoke inside your facility, he will damage your property, he will not fix anything, only make it worse. He will attempt to cause problems after the job is compleate (in his eyes).
