On 4/26/2013 I received an Award Notification dated April 15th, 2013. It was marked as a Final Notice with information they had tried to contact me previously. I am told it "must be redeemed by May 2nd, 2013." (Really! Who dates "official" documents using ordinal numbers!)
Notice and voucher are headed with "American" in what appears an attempt to make receiver believe it is coming from American Airlines. However, voucher states "PAY TO THE ORDER OF American TAD on behalf of"
Voucher is for $1,350.00 with "MEMO Must Be Redeemed for Travel Certificate."
Information states "This is not a timeshare or land sales office."
This company attempted a similar scam in 2012 posing as a look a like for US Airways by using heading "US Airlines." See article at http://www.fodors.com/news/story_4845.html
