AQ Wireless CONSUMER BEWARE:They are using trail and error methods to fix electronics. Upper Darby Pennsylvania

06/04/15 i cracked the screen of my ipod (4th gen. 32g) which was in my back pack. It had a slight white screen and a long crack that still allowed use, so i put on a passcode, backed up icloud etc..the continued use.06/06/15 i took the ipod to aq wireless, and was charged $40 & was told by the owner/only guy that fixes the electronics that it would be 30minutes, so i wait along with two othersahead of me. Two hours later he tells me to "take it home and charge it, for some reason after he put on the new screen it wouldnt come back on, come back in a hour even though we are closed and ill let u in should any issue arise. I say sure, on my way home, (ipod still in my hand i notice a gap in between the screen and case, i remove the case and the screen falls off. No glu, 4 screws missing and a ribnon was snapped and a piece was dangling off the top. of course i called 6xs with no answer, and went back within 10-13 mins and they were closed.

06/08 9:00am i called and told him what happened, he tried to tell me most ipods dont have those screws, it was damaged when you gave it to me, its only 4th gen it was gonna have issues and i will try again at no cost but i dont know why it wont come back on.06/09 i called to check the status and he tells me i cant fix but i will offer you a refurbished 16g 4th gen ipod for free and your $40 back that you paid because i just cant fix it, i yelled it worked,charged when i gave it to you, why take it if you dont understand how to fix beyond replacing a screen, he ignores me and says its all i can offer. I took the offer because if i sue, with court fees, travel and depreciation cost of my ipod i would spend more than what i would win. I am now stuck with a dead ipod an arefurbished ipod i refuse to love. im hurt, because threw it all i never got a apology nor a ipod of equal value. out of four yrs i had it, i only used i 17 times so it wasnt beat up or worn eitherBeware, just because its cheap and they say we fix ipads, ipods and phones, be sure to ask who , what, where when and most impotantly...how!
