Placed an $8700 deposit for an aircraft to be built. Promised timeline 2 months that was March of 2016. Contacting twice a mouth I was given many excuses of why things took longer. In January 2017 I was told it was finnally completed and I sent the balance payment, Total now $11,200. As of todays date 3/19/2017 I still have not recieved the aircraft nor any proof that it exists. I have asked for at least a picture of the completed unit on many occasions and have gotten nowhere.

Complaint

I placed an order for a new Green Eagle aircraft to be built in end of March 2017 with ****** ******* who is the owner of this company. I was promised delivery no longer then 2-3 months after I put in my deposit. My deposit check of $9400 was cashed on 03/30/2017. In July 2017 Ashton informed me... that my aircraft is ready for shipment and I need to send him remainder of the balance. I sent my second check of $5975 which was cashed on July 31, 2017. Since then I did not receive my aircraft. I have been calling him regularly asking for the reason for this delay in delivering my aircraft. He has been giving me one excuse after another. Now he is not even returning emails or calls.

Complaint

[Late delivery of paraglider] Mr. *** bought a paraglider from the Green Eagle Aviation for USD 11,700 on February 27th, 2016. Mr. *** transferred USD 8,700, and consumer and company both agreed on sending balance of USD3,000 after receiving the product. Even though the contract had been made... under the condition of receiving the product by 10 April, the product hasn’t been delivered yet as the date of July 22nd, 2016. The company claimed that some parts were not prepared to be sent and it was difficult to deliver the product due to the rainy weather in USA.

Complaint

Cancelled an order for product on 8/05/2014 that I had placed via email transactions with the owner of the business. I sent a check for deposit of $9000.00. I encountered an unexpected layoff from my employer and asked for refund of the deposit. I have inquired about the refund over the months and... as of yet have not received anything other than responses via email without any resolution.

Conrad Swensen

Conrad Swensen Several years ago I purchased a new Apco Lift EZ paraglider wing from Ashton Brunner, the owner of the company. I paid for it in April and did not receive it until Nov! I heard excuse after excuse for months and months...I was told it was held up in Customs, there were holidays, etc., etc. Nothing but BS from Brunner. I'll never purchase anything from him again

Terry Lutke

Terry Lutke Unfortunately in situations like you describe, owners are often hesitant to talk about rotten purchase experiences. They are now stuck in a bad marriage of dependence with the builder. I hope you get your bird soon.

Gordon Vogt

Gordon Vogt I have an acquaintance that purchased one and sent the full price in late 2017.. He went to Texas and did the training soon after that and returned with the new wing.. "Nevada" Since then , nothing but excuses, but no green eagle.. I think the guy is a CROOK

Terry Lutke

Terry Lutke I'm NOT pitching here at all, but..a scratch-built 4stroke ppg trike takes about 30 days from start to finish, and a week of that time is lost at the outside powder shop. Also keep in mind that I'm not a fast fabricator due to other projects I might have going. If there's a wing purchase involved, that can add a couple weeks of wait time, especially true during the summer busy season

Michael Holliday

Michael Holliday I have a student who bought a wing from this guy over a year ago and NEVER received it!!

Falconron Falconron@facebook.com  aka Ronald Aldrich Jax Fl

Yes, I paid 3,100.oo for a wing on May 6, 2019, and have not received it yet, always excuses. Called C/C company today may get money back? Cause I never got nothing for money and it was not over 12 months I may still get lucky. The 6-month window is better for a refund but I think he knows this. Lucky Chase C/C. I seem to remember told me I had up to a year max with them. I was going to give this guy more time but after seeing all the complaints. He just seems a con man to me. I also found another person who was screwed out of 10k 10 years ago why he didn't scream like hell on the net is unknown to me.

He could of unknowing saved us a lot of grief if he would have been bold enough to holler out on all forums. I am retired age 64 and have some minor health problems, have to take care of a disabled wife. It take me months so I could prepare my fiances for the purchase of this Mac-Para wing I wanted from him, only to be duped. He is not a direct importer and they do not go to his home as he told me. All pac-Para wings purchase have to go trough Andy  and it was said he has not ordered in 6 months.

3/05/2020 Ron ... Andy Mcavin the only importer (and Wholesaler) for MacPara who distributes to other dealers. Macpara hasn’t had an order from green eagle in over 6 months ... so anyone being told they’re getting a wing and that it’s been ordered may want to double check with the wholesaler to co firm their sad predicament.  This guy Andy is the only importer of MacPara wings, all dealers have to go trough him. Ashton  told me he was a importer and the deliver to his house, what a liar he is.  Same line as every one else was given. macpara busy season, or on a two month flying vacation during the off seasons what a crook.  I guess he use's the same line on all his live fish. Here is Andy info

We are getting a list of more people as we go. leave a reply if u been had by this guy we will get back to u.

He is building a 400,000 home and needs your donations.  Steven Kaye I've got a similar horror story from that clown. He never delivered a wing we ordered from him about 10 months ago now. Ashton is one of the least pleasant people I've ever met. While we were there for "training" (which consisted of 3 tandem flights and no actual training), the sheriff arrived to begin the process of evicting his dumb a*s. The dude is a joke. He's definitely been having financial issues for quite a while and has been using the deposit money people send to occasionally build Eagles for people who actually show up at the door.

We've spoken to the US Macpara dealer asking if the order was ever even received and he confirmed that no orders ever came in for the size/color we ordered. He also mentioned that Ashton was known for doing this and we were far from the first he'd ripped off that year alone.

We arrived for a full week to participate in the build process and do training. His shop was a mess. There was no inventory of parts, no demo or display units, nothing at all to indicate he was running a business out of that hangar. There wasn't even equipment available to train on. He barely got the build done in time and didn't even have all the parts present until the day before we were supposed to drive home. The entire week was nothing but blame and excuses. Whether it was his machinist, various parts supply companies, his landlord, or anyone else who could possibly be linked to him, someone else was always to blame for his terrible business practices. The most obnoxious part is he ensured us everything would be ready to assemble and fly on the dates chosen for our arrival. Instead, we spent nearly the entire trip sitting in front of his shop in the RV while he made excuses to not be working on the build.

Since we left, Ashton has been continually saying that it's "the busy season" over at Macpara and they're delayed. If we didn't drive across the country to physically be present for that week I'm certain he wouldn't have delivered on the paramotor itself either. I guess we got lucky that he was able to cobble together enough parts to at least build it while we were there.

We've kept our mouths shut in hopes that he'd eventually deliver the wing, or at the very least so that we don't get blacklisted if we ever need replacement parts for the Eagle itself. At this point it's clear that we're never getting the wing we paid for. This all took place between April and June 2019. I've been mostly quiet but still urge anyone looking at a Green Eagle to go elsewhere. Ashton Brunner is a crook.

Jesse Brockwell     Add   Long Herr to the list. I’ve invited him to the group. When/if he joins I’ll tag him. Same story, paid thousands and got nothing.
