Assets Biz Corporation Assets Biz I was ripped off and lied to, they made me pay cash and when I asked for a reciept, there was none handed to me when my car was reposessed and returned. Barrington, Illinois

I received a call from a man named Kyle, stating he was a sheriffs officer coming to tow my car. We verified my address and he showed up 30 minutes later. When he showed up, he had no proof of being a sheriff officer and only handed me a sheet of paper that had given him permission to repossess my car. Since he had this, I trusted him however, he had a female companion with him in his truck who got in my car and drove off. When I went through the whole process of paying my car I had to wait for my lien holder (Nissan Acceptance) to send Assets Biz a release of my car, it was a battle. I called Assets Biz and they kept telling me that they did not have it yet, so I then asked what time they close ( due to it being a Friday I wanted my car and not have to wait the whole weekend for my car) and they tole me 2PM. I then called kyle back and he said that the company had not called him also. I told him I wanted to make sure that this goes through, because the company said they closed at 2PM and i did not want to wait the weekend to get my car. He assured me that they were open until 4PM. I told him I don't know what happened but that is what was said to me. I know because I asked 3 times. I only asked 3 times because I thought it was pretty early to be closing. I then called Nissan back, and was told they had sent my release, again I called Kyle back and told him I just spoke to Nissan, and he said yup we got it, I'm working on it, I will call you back shortly. It was almost an hour when I called him back. He promised to have my car within 1 1/2 hours. He showed up a little later than he said, only this time he towed my car back ( it was not driven to me like it was driven away from my driveway.) I looked at my gas because I had filled my tank right before he took my car, and there was 1/4 of my tank gone. I asked him how far my car was driven and he said 16 miles. I told him that 16 miles does not take that much gas out of a car. He just stared at me like I was dumb (now remember my car was towed back, so it was driven a total of 16 miles from what Kyle had said.) Also my check engine light was on, and he had no knowledge of that. I signed some papers, he didn't explain or give me the time to read. Then I had to pay storage fee's for my car being on their lot. I paid a tottal of $165.00 in cash ( only because he said over the phone that is all he accepted. not even money orders or checks) I then asked for a receipt and he said i don't need one and he left. Of course I tried to call Nissan Motor Acceptance but it was after business hours, and the weekend. I have yet to call them on Monday.
