Aurora Bank FSB Exorbitant Appraisal Fee with no Justification Wilmington, Delaware

Aurora Bank FSB (Aurora) has acted irresponsibly in handling my recent mortgage loan application.  Specifically, Aurora has not shown accountability for the $675 appraisal fee I was charged, which is well above the base appraisal fee of $400 for an investment house in Austin, Texas.  Aurora has not responded to multiple phone and e-mails inquiries about the size of the fee. 

It appears no checks and balances are in place at Aurora to ensure that the extent of appraisal services ordered by Aurora in support of a loan application is necessary, or that the associated fees are reasonable and necessary.  Since it is easy for a business to spend a customers money inefficiently when it is not held to account for its decisions, I believe Aurora must be held to account.  If part of the fee was unnecessary, Aurora should refund me up to $275 ($675 invoiced fee less the $400 base appraisal fee).
