My experience with Auto Modules Source (AMS) was horrible.  As I have researched this issue I have come to belive that AMS has committed mail fraud.  They offer a one year warranty but that is where it stops!  In July 2105, I ordered a computer (ECM) for my Jeep form AMS.  They sent me an ECM but when it was installed my jeep ran horibly--the engine ran very rough like it was running on 5 cylinders.  I contacted AMS and sent this first ECM back for replacement.  They sent me a second ECM which allowed the jeep to start but then the engine would die (not continue to run) within 3 seconds.  I contacted AMS and returned this second defective ECM-- I requested another replacement and I let AMS know that I was not happy but would give them another chance to make it right.  AMS sent me an email that they would refund my money.

I was shocked but not suspicious at this point.  I contacted another company, Flagship One, Inc., and ordered an ECM for my jeep from them.  When this third ECM from Flagship One, Inc., was installed, my jeep ran perfectly.

I monitored my credit card for the refund from AMS-- When it showed up I noticed that AMS had deducted $99.25.  I contacted AMS to let them know that I did not receive a full refund.  They told me that 25% was deducted for restocking fee.  What!  No wonder my ECMs from them did not work--if they are restocking defective ECM!

I called AMS on 04 SEP 2015 and spoke to someone who would only identify himself as Guy.  I said that he was a manager.  Guy told me that they tested the ECMs when I returned them and that they were defective.  He accused me of doing something to them-- he said that there must be something wrong with my jeep that burned the ECMs up and that is why they chose not to do business with me.  I explained Guy that the ECM came to me defective and when they (AMS) told me that they were going to refund my money that i bought an ECM from another company and that ECM works perfectly fine.  He them accoused me of fixing what ever problem I have before that other ECM was installed.  This is a scam!
