Avis Ripping people off for cleaning fees with no proof Contacted the company and all they can do is hold up the charges for Pet Hair we fly on a plane and did not have pets, when I explained this to the two representatives, one of which was Kathy they were rude and offered no asssistance,. Don't rent from these people they are taking people's money and have no proof to backup the charges. College Park Georgia

I rented a mini van at Hartsfield Jackson Airport from Avis, I am a preferred member, everything was fine with the rental until 10 days later I received a letter indicating they would be charging me 75.00 for a cleaning fee, I called the number on the letter and let the rep Kathy know the car was used to transport 4 adults and asked what the charge was for she let me know the charge was for Pet Hair, really we just got off of a plane and stayed in a Hotel near Emory University we did not have any pets on the plane, Kathy was rude and indicated all she could do was uphold the charges and gave me the number to the airport location, I called the airport location and was directed to the national number, I spoke with another agent and went thru the entire story again only to be told all she could do was uphold the charges, and to call the airport location, so I called them 6 times and I was directed to the national number, so I called and hit 0 once someone answer I was transferred 3 times and landed in Bill's voice mail, I left a message and have yet to heard anything, I will be going to better business bureau next.  How can a company get away with this I had heard they are doing this alot in Atlanta but never believed it well I guess I should have.  DO NOT RENT FROM AVIS THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF WITH NO PROOF ABSOLUTELY MAKES ME SICK.
