BAM Group Illegal debt collection practices Phoenix, Arizona

This company left a message on a relative's answering machine saying I wrote bad checks and was being summoned. I answered the call and I told them if they could or were going to serve me, they would just do it and not call. They would not give the name of their company--the first guy said he was Michael Woods with Allstate Litigation, then transferred me to what I believe was BAM after I informed him of his illegal practices. The next lady I spoke to would not give a fax # or web address, and I had to wrangle the physical address out of her (I think it is a fake address because I could not find a collection company linked to it on the web). They called every hour from an unknown number until I told them what they were doing is illegal. Know your rights and let them know that YOU know---this approach scares them off the quickest because they know their tactics won't work on you.
