I was forwarded an email that broke down all the accomplishments of dance promoter, Barbara Sobel this past year. I completely disagree with this "puff" piece. In fact, Ms. Sobel should actually get the award for "Worst Dance Promoter of the Year".

Reasons Why Barbara Sobel is the "Worst Dance Promoter of the Year":

A) Capp Records fired her after multiple artists complained and the label was served with legal documents.

B) She fired DJ Skillmaster, Capp Records artist on a live podcast.

C) Continually posts images on Facebook and tags artists that aren't featured. Some of those artists think this is outright spam.

D) Her former boss, Harry Towers has blocked her from posting on his Facebook page.

E) Barbara demanded another podcaster cancel a guest she requested. This was despite the interview already being scheduled.

F) The Klubjumpers fired her from their show because she wouldn't play their remixes.Who are you calling a bad promoter!? It's not my fault you couldn't get it up last night. That is no reason to come on here and slander me!
