I received a statement from Juniper Credit Card company and saw an over limit charge. I immediately contacted them and told them I was not aware that I went over the credit limit, and asked them to remove the fee. They refused to remove the fee, even though I make all my payments on time. I immediately made a payment to bring my credit card balance under the credit limit.

Juniper still refused to help me with removing the fee and said I could receive another fee if don't bring the balance under the credit limit within 20 days. Hence, I am making sure my payments are brought my account current.

However, the customer service department and supervisors were not helpful in the least and did not even consider my position. They were very adamant about that they could only remove a fee if it was in error. They do not care if you are a customer with them for 10 years and never had a late payment.

Also, this company has multiple complaints about assessing late fees and over the limit fees and not reversing the charges or working with the consumer to correct the problem. I feel this problem is getting out of hand and needs to be addressed with the company if possible.

What problem...

I feel this problem is getting out of hand and needs to be addressed with the company if possible.

- You obviosly have no idea how credit cards work.  You admit you went over the credit limit but for some reason because you were "not aware" that you did you feel that they should not hold you to the terms of your account.  As an experiment I suggest you try to use this "I was not aware" excuse in your every day activities. 

Perhaps you should speed down the freeway not even looking at your speedometer.  Then when the cop stops you just let them know you were "unaware" you were going that fast.  Or better yet don't even look at your gas gauge and when your car runs out of gas call the dealer you got the car from and tell them that you should not have to pay for the gas because you were "unaware" that you were about to run out.

Oh wait..you are probably saying to yourself that is dumb, of course you should look at your speedometer and your gas gauge.  So then why would looking at how much YOU are spending to be sure you don't go over the limit be any different?

I'll just let you think about that one for a while...
