After 4 months our pool was finally completed to use (6-8 weeks is the given timeframe by company). We were very patient with Blue Haven during this process. We had a couple of issues during the process which we were told would be taken care of under "warranty" later.  However, no proper follow-up was done and excuses continue.

We are so disappointed now in our choice of pool builders.  There are several in Charlotte and we feel that Blue Haven gets you on the front-end with lots of promises, but then fails miserably in providing good customer service once all the money is paid.  This was not what we expected and would not recommend this company to another family.

Beware of their salesmanship to hook you in -- management, scheduling & customer service needs lots of improvement to qualify this franchise as a Quality Pool Builder in all respects.

vague reports

AUTHOR: BM - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, May 23, 2011

Judging by the time frame for this project the pool was built in the middle of winter. Most pools do take 6-8 weeks to build, however the weather greatly affects the build. This has been a very wet year. Since this post was done in May my guess would be the project started sometime in December. People need to keep in mind that the contract states every one rain day can add up to three days of construction. Unfortunately not only does it delay your project but any others going on at the same time. As for the warranty issue, it depends on what the issue is. The statements made by this individual are very vague and therefore hard to address. I can address the customer service issue. I personally do everything I can to make the construction process run smoothly. Not only that I really try to connect with our customers. People need to take postings like these with a grain of salt, the only time anyone wants to post anything on the web is when they have something negative to say which is unfortunate because we have a lot of happy customers too.
