Cellular Sales Of Knoxville - Verizon Cellular Sales Do not work for this company---scam artists, and liars!!!!! Internet

This company is a total rip off, and I would suggest anyone thinking about working here take a second thought. They spin the job, and company and make it sound promising, and like a great opportunity--think again.

1. Lots of up front costs: They make you get incorporated, which they act like this no big deal, but yet it ends up costing you hundreds of dollars. Also, they provide you no supplies at any of the stores, so you have to spend your money to go buy all of this stuff just so you have pens, staplers, etc at work. Also, they accept cash at these stores, but provide you with no cash registers or change. So you have to always maintain a cash bag even though you don't get paid until two months after you start.

2. Meetings and Trainings with no pay: There are always trainings and district meetings, and all other sorts of meetings they MAKE you attend but guess what--no pay! You will spend hours a week at these functions, sometimes at ungodly hours and since they are commission based you do it out of your pocket and time, but if you don't attend you get fired or reprimanded.

3. LIARS AND SCAM ARTISTS: This company is an authorized retailer for Verizon, but yet will do anything to try and make customers believe the are corporate, and bash corporate stores. I was told to not ever mention we aren't corporate even if a customer asked. They want to provide the customer with a good experience but yet if a customers phone breaks, and it is under warranty, you cannot send them to a corporate store to get new phone or else you will be fired. So instead you order them one through direct fufillment so they can wait two or three days and then call into 611 themselves and find out they could have gotten one that day and come back and b***h at you for it. They also sell their phones for WAY over the prices they should, and are usually double the price you would pay in any other store or online. They also sell phones that they get at "good deals" so these phones are either refurbs or old phones that came out years ago. But yet you have to tell customers it's the latest model or again you get fired. They encourage lies as long as you can make a sale. And unfortunately, management are the ones that you see telling lies the most just to get a sale out of an innocent person. People in the company also shimmy, add unwanted data, and lie and tell people they don't have insurance, or an upgrade available to get an add a line. Bottom line is these people encourage you to scam, and lie and DO ANYTHING to get the sale. They do not care, and management will reprimand you at the drop of a hat if you don't go along with their scam.

Also, you cannot accept checks from customers and if you and that check bounces...you will be charged for the return fees and the WHOLE check amount. How is that even legal? And....you will get text messages and calls from people in this company CONSTANTLY. All day long and even late hours in the night management will call you to bug you, or to swap shifts, it's like you do not get a life outside of this place. This company has such a large turnover rate no matter what they tell you. I saw people come and go weekly. New faces all the time, because eventually after a few mths people realize that this company is a FRAUD AND A LIE! Don't work here...you won't regret it.
