Terrible experience. Great reception. Nice and clean office. No problems there. Never judge a shack by its cover.

Took my 2002 BMW 330i year in for electrical problems as it is very close to where I live. Gave them all the information on what had happened and left my vehicle with them. They were very slow to revert back on what was the issue. After charging me for their diagnosis they then told me they could not fix it and that I would have to take it to BMW.

Why waste my time in the first place if they could not fix an electrical issue with a BMW. Service guy would not/could not tell me part number that would be needed or even correctly tell me where the module that would need to be replaced was located.

Ripped off $125. No response to my complaint in writing to them by email. BMW would not accept their diagnosis but to their credit deducted their charge from their repair bill. Nothing very Christian in their ethics at this particular location.

Why would you pay someone for being incompetent ?

AUTHOR: Manohar - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, August 29, 2019

Why would you pay someone who says they will fix the problem you described to them at the onsett who then can't even identify the part number they state needs to be replaced and do not even know where the part is located.

Either you are in the charity business or affiliated with the group in some way or perhaps are in or were in the trade and feel that you are entitled to other peoples hard earned money.

First of all it is a model that was very sucessfully sold in the US. They said no problem we fix BMW's all the time. Your defense on their action is quite astonishing. BMW did the diagnostic again and correctly identified the part that needed to be replaced as Christioan Brothers Automotive could not identify he part number that needed to be changed.

However BMW deducted their diagnostic cost from the total. You say you do not work for them. Perhaps you have some other affiliation with them?

What is unethical about this?

AUTHOR: Stacey - (United States)

You agreed to the diagnostic test and they did what you wanted. Therefore they did their jobs. Most garages would do alot worse like "fix" the car and really rip you off because it was not fixed.

Your car is 17 years old and most likely built in Europe at that time. SO I do not see the rip off since you most likely gave them permission to do this and signed documents to the effect. And NO I do not work for them.
