I was contacted by "Daniel" at "Mail Cuban Cigars" back in June 2020 (I have no idea who "Nicky" is), offering me a box of cigars to review on my YouTube channel "Cigar Salute". Before accepting the offer, I made it very clear that I would give a thorough look into the website, and review both the site and cigars in the video. At no point in our conversation did (and nor would I) I agree to exchange cigars for a positive review. Merchant agreed to my terms ( which were very specific, all backed up by email evidence), and sent me a box 10 Cohiba Siglo VI cigars.

Upon looking into the merchant, I quickly discovered that the individual contacting me was not who they claimed to be, but they are a disgraced cigar merchant who was looking to re-brand. I discovered this by matching email contact information with the merchant's old site, and have photos to prove it. I also have evidence and data from Facebook, WHOIS, Go Daddy databases that "Mail Cuban Cigars" are the same outfit as "Duty Free Cuban cigars", a company currently disgraced online for ripping off their customers by accepting orders and payments and not sending those customers what they ordered. I made review video as promised, and stated my findings. Cigar Salute is a non-monetized hobbyist blog, and does not generate income.

I did not, nor would I EVER, exchange cigars or any other kind of compensation for a positive review of a merchant. The cigars were compensation for my time & effort used to do research and create video. Video link posted below is not the video review I did for this merchant. All photos & evidence collected at time of video's creation is available for all to see there. Since making the video, I have obtained even more information that supports my findings that Mailcubancigars.com & Dutyfreecubancigars.com are the same people. This merchant can tell whatever stories they like, I have no reason to make lies up, nor do I gain anything by doing so. I am not employed by the cigar industry. Please know I have never purchased anything with this merchant, and they do NOT have my credit card information. They sent a box of free cigars to my residence, and that has been the only dealings I have had with them. Accused merchant is trying to distort the truth by mixing in another investigative piece I did for my YouTube channel against another cigar merchant "Finest Cuban cigars" nearly 2 years ago.
