City Furniture (Boca Raton) Ashley Furniture Complete Rip Off !!! Boca Raton FL

I had my run with cheap furniture stores, finally bought a house in 2016 and decided that I would invest a little more and go to City Furniture, I bought a $1800 sectional, I had it about 3 years before it started to break / fall apart. I went back to see if they could help me, but I never got the protection and my warranty was up so I was out of luck. Totally understandable, I got a few years of use out of it, wanted it to last longer then 3 years but whatever. This is 1 year and 2 months ago. So the salesman brings me over to a little bit smaller version of the same sectional and tells me that it's the new and improved version. I sit on it, it feels stronger. I decide to buy it it was $1300 but on sale at the time.

I got the protection, he said it covers everything and if they cant fix it they'll replace it. So I figured what do I have to lose. Up until about a month ago I was very happy with it. But then it started ripping apart from the seams even in places I don't even sit on. (They told me they don't sell bonded leather anymore, and that this couch was a different material.) IT WAS BONDED LEATHER, THEY LIED !!! So I call to make a complaint b/c I dont like spending over a thousand on furniture and it falling apart in a year. They send a fake technician that came in a compact car, didnt even have tools, probably only has the ability to fix a minor scuff or put a screw back in to look at my couch, besides wasting my time he said he couldnt fix anything.

I knew that when I saw his tiny car pull up. The damage he said he couldn't fix was visible in the pictures I sent them, they knew they couldnt fix it and just sent this guy to see if they could screw me. Very shady company, I'm reporting them to yelp, google, better business bureau, ripoff report, federal trade commission,. I highly advise not doing business with them, they are liars and crooks. Nothing they told me was true, everything I paid them for was a waste. Their excuse was that my kitten scratched on a part of it nowhere near the ripped seams, Yea I guess my 7 pound kitten pulled apart your couch at every seam. You guys can see for yourself what happens to thier "Not bonded leather anymore" maybe the bonded leather was better! I'm furious they lied to me !!!
