I worked for this company for years. I was promised a certain amount of full time work. After three months I asked about benefits. I was then told that it was a part time position and would have to earn full time. I'd already been putting in 50-80 hour weeks. Reports that were supposed to be laid were left not. I took on extra work for an opposite coast and due to work overload, had work taken from me. I was always regarded as their highest asset due tiny extensive experience, yet received less and less as time went on due to not being emailed my work in a timely manner and other work I'd signed a contract tobe given taken away.  I stayed because I kept being promised full time employment and benefits. Each time I was promised it was coming, something "came up" that held it off. I single handedly saved many accounts and gained business for this company's clients. I was withheld promised pay, told that it was a payroll'a company's fault when in fact there is no payroll co, simply a business checking account in the name of the president of the company, who really is a QVC spokesperson/aspiring acress(yeah ok)/model(yeah ok again). Many clients (auto dealerships) were EXTREMELY unhappy with this company's rep's and were going to leave the company as they promise much and deliver close to nothing of what they promise, until I began work and busted my butt keeping these dealers aboard, only to have my hours cut. I'm sure these dealers will leave the company soon but that is not my problem anymore. They say they deliver direct marketing. Most of their marketing is done via phone calls. They rarely send a rep out for a dealer more than 1-2x/mon depending on the dealer. And if you're a male looking for an auto marketing job, don't bother with this one. They only hire women, decent looking ones, to keep the auto boys' club happy. If you're an unattractive female, and I mean if you aren't or never were a model under size six, don't bother. I'd steer clear.

CKH is Ethical and Very Professional

I worked for CKH for about a year on the east coast.  As a size 10 mom in my mid-forties (not the "model under size 6" the author of this report suggests), I enjoyed the flexibility this position offered. Kerriann was extremely professional and supportive.  She truly cared about the happiness of her clients and her employees.  She wanted our feedback and input for she was constantly making sure we were doing our jobs as effectively and efficiently as possible. In the year I was employed at CKH, I saw a great deal of improvements.  She put our ideas in action!

Is was evident that Kerriann cared very much about her business and she was extremely knowledgeable.  I sat in on a few meetings with clients who could not say enough about Kerriann and what CKH has done for their business.  Everyone loves Kerriann.  She is that kind of person and the kind of leader many aspire to be.  She went out of her way to make sure i was happy and I know she does the same for her clients.  If I had questions, she was quick to respond.  She was flexible with which days I worked as long as I completed my work by week's end.  

In the year I worked for CKH, all of my contact with clients and shops were "in person" meetings.  This is what a marketing rep at CKH does.  I was hired to visit the shops and clients on a weekly basis.  I never once called a shop instead of visiting them.  

Many times throughout my employment with CKH, I had my paycheck in my hands before the actual paydate.  The rest of the time, I received my paycheck on paydate.  

 I have worked for a few large companies.  I enjoyed the flexibility, the position itself, and the caring professionalism of Kerriann while I worked at CKH.  There is something special about working for a smaller company like CKH.  All of the employees worked together as a team even though we were miles apart.  We were all on the same mission: To do our job to the best of our abilities so our clients and CKH are successful.  Kerriann is honest, extremely hard working, knowledgeable and ethical and I cannot say enough about her as a leader and as a person.    

The author of this report could not have been more wrong.

High ethics and integrity at CKH

It is a sad day when people go to such great lengths to work to destroy other people's character.

The reality is clear, Kerriann Kada Ferrano runs her company with high integrity and high ethics.  That is why it is has exponentially grown and that is why it is so successful.  She deals in quality.  Quality in the way she works, quality work for her customers and quality in the way she treats employees.  

I have been a consultant for this company for many years.  The care that she gives to all aspects of her employees  and customers is profound and rarely seen in companies today. The focus, mission and continued business strategy is hard work centered on face to face contact and attention to detail always for her client's best interests. The many long term clients that CKH has served is a testament to this.

From an Accountant's point of view

As an Accountant hired by Kerriann, I do have some inside knowledge of how Kerriann runs her company.  She originally started with partners before she went out on her own.  Her records prove to me that she is too generous rather than selfish.   She often communicated with me ways that she could improve her employee's welfare.  I would have been well aware of late payroll and/or withholding payroll.  And going back to the beginning of the charges ... 'I worked for this company for years ...' FALSE.  I know the employees and this is not a long time employee.  These charges are just unfounded.

Kerriann is a smart, talented business person with a kind heart.  She has scrupulous morales and a sweet disposition and is a beautiful woman inside and out.  This Ex - employee sounds like a Made for TV Movie Villian.

False accusations have been made against a great company

I have served as a consultant/employee for CKH Marketing for about a year and a half. I worked directly with the owner and have worked on a limited basis with other employees within the company.

CKH marketing is a company that truly works in service of their customers. They are honest and forthright in all commitments they make to their customers.

I was brought on to the CKH team as a consultant to help develop, refine and design the graphics on photo editing software for marketing products.

The CEO of this company constantly thinks of new ideas and venues to expand and better serve their clients. I came on board to fulfill the new area of marketing in physical promos to machine shops.

I designed all types of logos, pictures, icons, and labels put on varying items for dealerships (intentionally vague to maintain trade secrets). These new marketing items were new to the mechanic shop industry. This sector of the business has continued to expand because of only positive reviews from clients. Clearly this is a testament to the innovative thinking of CKH marketing.

CKH marketing is much more than a "phone call" company. Their leadership is dedicated to keeping CKH Marketing a pioneer in the auto industry and keeping their clients relevant in the market.

I have never experienced any pay problems from the payroll company used by CKH. All interactions I have had have been sincere and professional.

The original posting stands completely alone from all other actions and experiences from CKH employees. The multitude of rebuttals proves the strength, competence, and professional nature of CKH marketing.

I recommend to anyone looking at CKH marketing to completely disregard the original post. It is an incorrect and false representation of this company.

Lies

I am not the owner nor an employee of CKH.  I have however been closely involved with the company since it's inception.  Kerrianne has gone out of her way to sacrifice for her employees.  I could elaborate but I don't need to.  Her works stands on it's own.  Any scam company out there will have tons of complaints online.  This is one isolated disgruntled sad EX employee who is projecting her own feelings of guilt, due to her actions, on CKH.  This is a common tactic of children when caught doing something wrong.  My recomendation would be to accept where you fell short and move on.  There is nothing you could say or do to derail this company because good and hard work always prevail.

Totally False Accusations

I worked for this company for 1 1/2 years; on the East Coast; in addition to working directly with the owners, I also worked directly with our car dealership clients (owners, managers..etc) These claims are false and I will respond by saying this-

 

"Many clients are extremely unhappy with the company's reps, etc."

Durning my DAILY interactions with our clients, not once did someone say the work of the sales reps or owners was inadequate. It was infact, so 'adequate,' that we were very busy and needed to hire new sales reps.

"CKH is sexist and you have to be a model to work here"

As I said, we were so busy, we needed to hire new reps; I was in charge of hiring and we hired A MAN! So the claim that it's sexist, or that you have to be a model is 100% false, I personally hired a man.

"CKH withholds pay."

Never once was my paycheck late, infact, if pay was expected on Monday; I generally had it in my account by the Friday prior.

"They say they deliver direct marketing. Most of their marketing is done via phone calls."

In my time with the company I was out of the house DAILY, direct markeing for our clients IN PERSON. Each week I would personally visit 25-30 shops, as promised for EACH of the clients. Phone calls are done as the first 'touch' and then the marketing effors that follow are direct, and in person-I have the miles on my car to prove it.

 

In conclusion; don't let the words of an obvisoulsy, disgruntled employee affect this small, yet mighty company.

Also, all of the rebuttals to the first were written by the owner who will obviously go to any length to confirm a "legit" company to save herself, a very much older employee from yrs ago whom Kerriann has talked so much crap on and an employee who works very close with her, whom Kerriann wouldn'to cross as when she is away from the company, which is often, this person runs it for her. I wouldn't cross someone who was running my company either. Personally, I didn't experience them all. But I did experience work gone unpaid and rebuked. Whatever It's about time that someone said something.

I am a current manager at CKH Marketing, and have worked extensively with the employee who wrote this horrible report.  These accusations are false.

Kristin was never promised full time work and benefits. I personally conducted a phone interview with her and these questions came up. I told her at the time, there is only enough work for part time hours and there are no benefits. Kristin mentions that she has been working with CKH Marketing for many years, but really has only been with the company for 5 months, from mid July 2013 to December 2013. Kristin never kept her word, she would make promises, but never followed through on them. Each time we would ask for her completed work, she would always have an excuse as to why it was not done. In regards to payroll, I manage the company and the most I have worked,over the past year, is 70 hours in a two week period.  50-80 hours a week is a ridiculous claim. From a management perspective, she was not reliable.

I have personally worked with Kerriann for almost 3 years now and she has never paid me late. If anything, she sometimes pays early. Kerriann does everything in her power to make sure we all get paid on time and if direct deposit falls on a weekend, she will give us the option to have an actual live check mailed out to us or she will physically go to our bank and make the deposit for us. During the holiday season, Kerriann was planning on giving Kristin a Christmas bonus along with her paycheck. Kerriann made numerous attempts to give the paycheck and bonus to Kristin, but Kristin never got back to her each day they were to meet.

CKH Marketing is no way, shape, or form a sexist company. In the past couple years that I have been working at the company, it has been primarily girls because females were the only ones responding to our job posts. I went through resumes and interviews, and they are predominately female.  CKH has, past and present, and had multiple workers of all sexes, races, sizes, ethnicities, ect, in the 7 years of being open.

CKH Marketing is a small company, all payroll is done through a payroll site. Each pay period, we are notified via email when our checks are ready and can log on to the website to view our paychecks. I can personally attest to this.

Kerriann is very respected in this industry, I have always heard good things about her from all of our clients. All of our clients have always been extremely happy with her work and honesty. I personally work very closely with Kerriann and she has been nothing but extremely nice and understanding. Kerriann likes to give every employee the benefit of the doubt and is always more than willing to help them out, giving them numerous chances and working around their needs and schedules. She understands her employees have personal lives as well, and is very accommodating to that fact.

I personally manage many of the schedules and routes. I can attest that the accusation that most of our marketing is done via phone call is completely false. She claims that we only went out for our clients 1 or 2 times max a month. I personally sent her the routes each week, and can against attest that this accusation is false. Our work is done both by phone calls and visiting shops personally. Phone calls would be made first to get the background information needed to visit the shop. Over half of this company is made up of referrals by other happy and satisfied clients. Seven years of business stands strong.  CKH continues to work hard for clients, and raise the bar in wholesale parts marketing.

I worked for CKH Marketing for over three years, and during my time with the company I NEVER experienced nor witnessed any of these above claims.  

My experience working for CKH was extremely positive.  I was brought in part time working as a sales representative.  After working diligently and proving myself as a valued employee for the company, I was promoted to a full time position where I received benefits right away.  Although CKH is a small business, the owners care deeply about their employees, and always went above and beyond to make sure we felt appreciated and had job security.  

I would like to address some of the false claims directly:

"CKH is sexist and you have to be a model to work here"-FALSE!

CKH hired men as outside sales reps as well.  The only reason that there were more women on the payroll was simply that most positions started as part time, and offer a lot of flexibility for stay at home moms, women with multiple careers, etc.  Also, the stated claim that you have to look like a model to work here is also completely untrue-I worked alongside many woman (including myself) who are not models, and just because the owner is in the industry, she never brought in her own personal model friends or favored those that fit the model stereotype.

"CKH withholds pay."-FALSE!

Never once was my paycheck late, or did not receive what was owed to me.

"Many clients are extremely unhappy with the company's reps, etc."- FALSE!

When I was promoted to General Manager for the company, I was responsible for overseeing all of our outside sales reps nationwide.  It was part of my job to check in with our clients regularly, make sure that they were satisfied with the work being done by our outside reps, etc.   Since the company doesn't bind companies to sign lengthy contracts, if our clients were unhappy with our services they are able to cancel anytime.  CKH's client retention was always a big selling point, and many of our client's stayed with the company for years and years. 

In conclusion, these innacurate claims in no way reflect how CKH truly operates.

The above report was written by a disgruntled employee. 

CKH is a full service marketing company with a concentration in the auto industry.  CKH Marketing was established in 2007,and is filled happy clients, of which over half are referrals. The industry is filled with many other marketing companies, who don't rely on ethics.  When CKH entered the market, they changed the game.  A reliable, ethical company, who does what they say, and says what they do.  Because of their tried and true morals and honest hard work, this company has become a leader in the industry. 

Kerriann Kada Ferrano (recently married), along with other founders, nurtured this company from the ground up.  Kerriann has now grown the company nation-wide.  Kerriann's sales abilities are the best in the market.  She has been referred to, by co-workers and clients, as "the rain maker."  Her clients claim it is her ability to understand their needs and add creativity to achieve such fast results.
