They're reporting a debt paid off in the middle of 2010 as a fresh debt of August of 2015 to drive my credit down and get me to pay them personally since I paid their customer the actual apartment and they made no money from the collection.

I recently began monitoring my credit report using Experian.com.  I noticed that my score decreased by 16 points in August 2015 accompanying a flagging of my account by Clark County Collection Service on the 9th of August, 2015 with a status date of 8/8/15 for $159.00.

I was totally confused as to what I owed Clark County, as I haven't lived in Clark County since 2010 and haven't even visited there for over a year and that only a few days.  For it to have been flagged last month it should've been something from July of 2015 that's 30 days late, but that's impossible.

I called and got their voicemail, left a message that was not returned.  I looked over their website and noticed that they only represent medical and apartment agencies.  Another rip off report filed on them by another scammed consumer was for an apartment in Las Vegas who also had their letters and calls ignored and sent to a full voicemail.

I haven't had an apartment in Las Vegas in nearly 5 years!  I'm 33yrs old and am in great overall health.  I haven't been do a doctor in GOD knows how long, possibly 15 years!

After receiving further information from Experian, they're claiming it was a deliquency on a apartment I had in 2010.   I paid that actual apartment every penny owed and I never pay through collection companies so I understand they're upset they made no money from the collection.  However, the question is, even if it was deliquent in 2010 why are they flagging it as a freshly late bill of 2015 to get the score to drop 16 points so I can REPAY the same debt only to the collection agency, who obviously was ripped off of the apartment complex.

I hope and pray I can get this taken off of my report with the points restored without having to pay anything or much difficulty.
