Why is it the Clark County District Attorney's Office and The Las Vegas Casinos' have been allowed to collect Casino gambling debt, at a cost of billions of our taxpayer dollars, through our Criminal Justice System? All other business in the United States have to collect any unpaid credit debt through the very expensive Civil Court System so they are careful about the credit they extend. If we allowedall businesses to collect their credit debt like this, you could go to jail for not paying your car payment or your visa bill!

Recent cases with sports celebrities like with Charles Barkley and Adam "pacman" Jones are prosecuted in Las Vegas through the Criminal Courts; so we, the taxpayers, pay for it!

We all think this is about a few people with gambling addictions(the Casinos' counton that)and maybe this will teach them a lesson; well nothing could be further from the truth. The reality is they have beenextraditing, jailingand prosecuting 20,000 of their own customers every year since 1983.

In 1983 they passed a, thinly vailed, law illegally making these credit markers checks; so if you sign one over $250.00 and can't pay it back you face 2 felonies and 14 years in a Nevada Prison! Amazinly they have kept this under the radar for 27 years!

At a time when people are struggling to keep their homes; Nevada Politicians look the other way as the Clark County District Attorney David Roger wastes billions of dollars to collect civil gambling debt through our Criminal Justice System!

It is time to stop this egregiouscolossal waste of our tax dollars at a time when we cannot pay for the essential services we all need!

AMERICANS FIND YOUR VOICE, STOP THIS OUTRAGE! IF WE SHED LIGHT ON BY EMAILING THE CASINOS' AND THE CLARK COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY; THEY WILL STOP THIS!

CLARK COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY AND LAS VEGAS CASINOS' WASTING BILLIONS OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS TO COLLECT CASINOS' CIVIL GAMBLING DEBT PROSTITUTING THE CRIMINAL COURTS SYSTEM

AUTHOR: Dennis Wager - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 12, 2011

Also, the 20,000 customers the Casinos' jail and prosecute, each year, did not pass bad checks, they signed a Casino credit marker; which is a credit obligation that should be addressed through the Civil Court System at their expense; like all other businesses in the United States of America. If all businesses could do this, you could go to jail for not paying your visa bill! The Powerful Casino lobby's sole interest in passing this law was to avoid the expensive Civil Court Process and let taxpayer foot the bill by criminalizing civil credit and allows them togive credit indiscriminately; at a cost in the Billions since 1983 to all American Taxpayers.

Is is true the Las Vegas Casino Lobby got a law passed making a Casino Credit Marker a check in 1983; you can find this on the internet or call the Clark County Law Library(in Las Vegas) and they will verify this.

14 years in prison for a "bad check"? I don't think so.

Well, I find this very hard to believe. I lived in Vegas for 7 years and saw every form of corruption you could even imagine, but this is just ridiculous. 14 years in prison for a "bad check"? 2 felonies for a single "bad check"? Simply doesn't make sense.

Please post this alleged law here for all of us to read. I can remember a little bit about bad checks in NV. Over $250 is criminal, but the first offense was very light, and was usually just restitution, probation, and court costs.

NOT 14 years in prison! Absolutely ridiculous.
