Classic Auto Air Old Air Products Take your money, ship out junk, and then hope you go way Tampa Florida

I'd give these people negative stars but they'd never pay their star debt. I'm restoring a classic car and I have sent thousands of dollars of parts to them. Their service has always been slow, I'm talking eight months or more, and their customer service is lousy, with them seldom returning calls. Then they started shipping crap parts that were defective or shoddy. First was a receiver dryer; I didn't even unwrap it from the plastic bag, I could see they left a shipping plug out, allowing it to absorb the humid Florida air and ruining it.

I called the company and instead of taking responsibility and having it shipped back, the guy immediately-and without seeing pictures or anything-tried to blame it on UPS! Mind you, no damage to the box, item, anything. Well we then sent in pictures to them and UPS, and UPS quickly told them no way Hosea. After a dozen phone calls, I then disputed the charge. What does CAA do? They lie to the credit card people and state that I never returned calls, etc! After dozens of calls, pictures, etc. I talked to no less than five employees, the last time they said oh if you drop the dispute we will refund some of the money....like I'm going to trust them with their great track record.

Next, I pulled a compressor out of the box.....spinning the clutch, it makes a nice grinding noise. Once again, called CAA....once again, we will get back to you, pictures (and a video) sent....once again, no one calls back. Don't believe anything these people tell you, don't send them anything to work on. This has been going on for over six months now.
