Clay Cooley Suzuki of Arlington Car loan not approved, our car sent to auction; we're out of a car Arlington, Texas

On July 15, myself and husband went to Clay Cooley Suzuki of Arlington to look for another car. We were given a XL-7 to take home and were told that they would take care of getting us a approved with a bank. We used a car (2000 Pontiac Grand Am) and $500 to put as a down payment. We had the car that same day and left it at the dealer. And we took the XL-7 home. We took the $500 cash on a further date, the 19th of July.

We thought it was a done deal. We had filled out paperwork. We were told what bank was going to finance our loan. We were giving the payment amout $357 a month for 4 years.

On the 8th of August, we were contacted by Clay Cooley's office and told that the bank was unable to finance our loan due to the type of car. We were asked to bring the XL-7 back to them and that they were going to due an in house finance and we would be able to pick from their inventory.

We went in on the 9th, and we did not like any of the cars that they had availible in their inventory. We were looking for an SUV, not a van. Something for our growing family, and all they had were an Uplander, small cars, and some trucks.

We decided not to go with any of there cars availible and asked for our money and car back. We left the XL-7, and we were told that we would have our car and money back on the 10th in the afternoon.

I went in because we called various times and would not get a response. I got a check for $500 but no car. Now I was told that it won't be until the 11th. We are out of a car and we not sure if we are going to get it back.
