Columbia House Apparently someone opened an account last year 10-15-12 and ran up $117 which is on my credit report now. I have no idea how this could have happened. Terre Haute Indiana

Apparently someone opened an account using my name and information.   

I was checking my credit score and found a collections item from Columbia House for $117.   I absolutely have no mail from them or other indication I have anything to do with this.   

I am finding out that others are having problems with this.   Not sure what to do but I am going to dispute it and follow up with my credit monitoring service.

Trident Asset Management This company put a bill in my name which i never ordered from columbia house records for 61 dollars at an address we didnt even live at till 3 years later. We called several times to have it removed they just hang up o us we need this off our credit reports its effecting our score. We asked them for the proof of the bill and what we ordered they said oh well for you we dont have it. Atlanta Georgia

Trident asset management LLC This company has been showing up on my credit report since 2010 stating that I owe them 55.00 for Columbia house DVD. I never heard of them before and I have not rented DVDs in forever. I been clearing up my credit report I know what is suppose to be there and this company should not be there.
