 Home inspection was scheduled for a property purchase several days in advance, however the inspector showed up over 2 and 1/2 hours late for the inspection.  Mr. Shane Blankenship was extremely unprofessional and home inspection was rushed because as he stated "he has another job he has to get to" and something to the effect of this 'inspection was putting him behind'. 

Property was not treated respectfully, which was embarrassing considering the homeowners were now home because of the late arrival.  Doors and windows were slammed, a washing machine was shut off without notice during its cycle, sprinklers were turned on and left on even after we left.  Dirt was tracked into the home without regard, which made the homeowners visibly upset. 

As the home was less than two years old, the expectation was that there wasn't many existing problems.  As it turned out, this was the case as reported by the company, therefore, the inspection report recommended things such as a detailed interior cleaning of the home, furnance filters replaced, and sprinkler heads readjusted.  This report angered the homeowners and we almost lost the deal.

Now that the house has been lived in, we have found that the refridgerator isn't working properly, there is a drainage issue on the property, the dishwasher leaks, and the toilet seal is broken in the master bathroom.  These are the things that are expected to be found on an inspection report, not just things such as a furnace filter replacement.  We paid good money and placed our confidence in a home inspection that was rushed and unprofessional by this company. 

Do not waste your time.  Their inspections may be a tad bit cheaper than their competitors, but it isn't worth the paper it is printed on.  Spend the extra $50 bucks and go with a company who will be thorough and is BBB accredited so that you will have some recourse and peace of mind.  Lesson learned the hard way for this consumer.
