credit first killed my credit report. i received a bill from them and did not know who they were. instead of calling me to provide a description of the bill, they filed a late payment on my credit. it's the only late pmt i've had in 10 years. they file with the credit bureas without a courtesy call. don't do business with this group - i found them thru firestone when getting an oil change. i'm also mad at firestone for not disclosing i was doing business with credit first, so i don't use firestone any longer. credit first is not trustworthy, stay away from them.

Why would you expect someone who receives a bill that by an amazing coincidence is for the same amount that they spent at Firestone, actually take the time to contact Firestone to ask where their bill is?
No they do what every other person who does everything they can to blame others..they just ignore the bill hoping it will just go away.
And let us not even go into the fact that to be reported late on your credit report you must be at least 30 days late. So they didn't get just one bill..they got at least a 2nd bill. Just how many warnings did they want?

You knew you owed someone for the work done at Firestone. Why didn't you contact Firestone concerning the unpaid bill?
