Crystal Lake Apartments, Shelby twp. Roma Valley Apartments Roma Investments Not qualified, no credit check, but takes deposit and will not refund! Shelby Twp Michigan

  I went to Crystal Lake Apartments to view an apartment and see if I was qualified, and I was informed that because I am paid by personal checks I do not qualify. However, Suzzy, The manager that scammed me, still took $300 from me to hold the apartment. The next day I called back to get a refund because I decided to look at the reviews on the company and saw nothing but horrible comments and statements about the management and I also found somewhere that fits my needs and had good reviews. When I went back the next day she told me it was non refundable, which she did not state when she took my money.

Keep in mind that I never qualified to begin with. She also never ran my credit to see what my deposit would be. My next step was to go above her head and talk to corporate or the management above her, so I called later to speak to someone else after Suzzy left and Renée, the lady that answered the phone, did not want to give up her bosses name or number or any type of contact to the main boss or owner of the community..., hmm super sketchy right? So my next step is to try and take this to small claims court because I'm not one to just throw away money! So disgusted with the company and its employees!
