Designer Stripes Toygers Did not provide me with a kitten or my deposit Aurora Illinois

I asked Helen before I sent my deposit and signed contract if I would be able to choose my kitten and she stated in two seperate emails, yes, I would be able to choose my kitten. I mailed the contract and deposit to her the end of March and in early July she emailed stating she had a kitten for me. I asked if I could choose and she said no. I asked when the kitten would be ready for pick up and she stated she had to be spayed first so she wasn't sure.

She then emailed stating I could remove the stitches myself if I wanted. I then emailed her being respectful stating I felt scammed as she not only lied but suggested I removed stitches, which I was not at all comfortable with because I have no experience as a vet. In the same email I asked for my deposit back in hopes that if she said no, I would still be provided with the kitten. I did not once state I did not want the kitten. (i.e., like if you purchase a product and a store will not accept a return you have to keep it, this is what I thought would happen) She emailed me back stating I was acting like a b***h and denied me both the kitten and my deposit.

I told her that she had to provide me with either my deposit or the kitten otherwise this was theft. She emailed stating she doesn't have many pet quality kitten, which I take as very misleading if you have pet quality kittens for sale on your website. Also, she stated she would be breeding another one of her cats but then sent an email following within a couple minutes contradicting what she just stated about breeding another one of her cats. Weeks have now passed and she sold the kitten and kept my deposit.
