DHgate has a big problem occurring across the board on dhgate, scammers are setting up storefronts, selling products they don't have, guitars, sports products, electric bicyles, and all kinds of items, for about three weeks, posting fake tracking numbers, then completely disappearing.

Then adding insult to injury, DHgate policy sides with the seller, making the customer who was scammed jump through hoops and wait weeks or months to get a refund. It makes a person think dhgate themselves are 100% in on the scam.
