DoctorUnlock.Net Fast and reliable IMEI-based unlocking DoctorUnlock intentionally deceptive pricing and malicious business tactics and scams

On their front page website DoctorUnlock.net clearly advertises the cost of unlocking a Sprint iPhone to be $28 USD. There wasn't even any asterisks or disclaimers that had any 'fine' print gotchas on the page. I went through this entire process, taking screenshots each step of the way, and paid the $28 for the unlock.

An hour later, immediately afterwards when checking the status page of the unlock progress it says Total Paid was only (USD $7) and I thought that didn't make sense because I knew my credit card was actually charged for $28 USD. So I reasonable thought that DoctorUnlock company actually charged my card $7, put a hold for the $28, and would finish charging the rest of the $21 once they processed the unlock code...

Some days later I then got an email saying the unlock code is ready to be delivered but that the "rest of the payment" would be due. Thinking that the site said I only paid (USD $7) I believed that the "rest of the payment" was the $21 USD ($28 - $7 = $21 )...

But then imagine my shock and surprise when I find out that I have to pay an ADDITIONAL $56 due on top of what was already paid in full and that the $28 paid was now discovered to be actually just the upfront "pre-order" money, and that the real new grand total was instead now going to be $84 USD!!!!! So what the heck was the "total paid $7 USD" actually about? (more on this later...)

But then it gets worse, (if DoctorUnlock is going to do deceptive pricing at least deliver the technicial goods!!!) I also find out that even after paying insane amount of a total of $84 USD, that the "unlock" will still not actually be delivered immediately and in fact could take up to an additional 30 days even after the pre-order was already paid and accepted and even after they just stated a 100% Guaranteed Unlock and that they've indicated the reason the pre-order cannot be refunded is because of the so-called "cost of preparing the unlock"...

So they also state that "Orders cannot be cancelled"..."as we pay for our unlocks up front from the suppliers" and they further are stating the cost of the pre-order (which it turns out isn't the $7 but actually the much higher $28) went towards the expensive steps of "preparing the unlock", then it stands to reason after DoctorUnlock get the rest of the $56 hostage money they should release the lock on the phone immediately, yes?

So again if the unlock took a lot of work to get 'pre-pared' during the 'pre-order' stage then it stands to reason that the moment the rest of the hostage payment was made the unlock should be instant, right? But why are they again saying it could take up to yet another 30 days even at the second /final stage?

If it still takes up to this long post-preorder, then what is the whole point of the pre-order in the first place if not to dupe potential customers into believing the actual total price of your service is lower than it actually is, which is a form of false advertising, and then to lock (the irony for an unlocking service) them in presenting them with either the dilemma of following through with a much higher actual price of unlock (where they get to keep moving the goal post of the total price at will) or else holding their customers phone hostage and then rendering their pre-payment which they thought was the real /full payment null and void, essentially at that point amounting to nothing more than a scam in which they are paying you money for absolutely nothing in return since obviously you don't refund pre-orders and its also seems clear that the "pre-order" money isn't actually put towards the so-called "cost of preparing the unlock" because DoctorUnlock also stated even after the final payment is made to release the unlock codes it can still take the company up to yet another 30 days to actually deliver the unlock itself...

This compounded by DoctorUnlock's intentionally misleading and entirely arbitrary "total paid (USD $7)" --which now in retrospect is clear was not the actual upfront "pre-order" fee-- makes no sense other than to conclude that it too (the $7 confusion and serving as an obfuscate plausible denialability scenario) was designed in a deliberately calculated manner to deceive and confuse the customer and to create the false impression of the actual fee being much lower than they are actually charging for the purposes of false advertising and false inducement of potential customers and entraping them using unlawfully deceptive tactics.
