DO NOT rent a vehicle from Dollar Rentals.  My only experience with the company was at the Denver Airport location, and I will never use ANY of their locations again.  Horrible customer service. 

My husband and I rented from Dollar last week for a ski trip.  We rented from Wednesday-Sunday.  Sunday, we returned the car at about 10:30AM.  At approximately 11:00AM, when we were going through security, my husband realized that he has forgotten his ski coat in the back seat of the car.  He immediately called Dollar and spoke with Mark, who was supposed to be in cahrge of the lost and found.  Mark said that he would go out and check the vehicle and call us right back. 

After about an hour, and no reply from Mark, we called back... no answer.  No answer at the location AT ALL.  We tried multiple extensions, multiple times, for about 2 hours we couldn't get anyone on the phone.  Then, finally, (about 2.5 hours later) we got in touch with Mark who said that he couldn't even locate the vehile that we returned, but that no none had returned the jacket.  We asked to speak with a manager, and briefly spoke to Crystal, who sent us directly back to Mark after we had explained that Mark was not being at all helpful. 

Mark then promised that he was going to check again and call back.  We got on our flight, came home, and never heard from Mark.  We called him again, and he said that he had other things to do besides look for the jacket, and that the car was now out on rent. 

All of this (6+ hour) ordeal, and he never even looked in the car or called us back to let us know anything.  Surely, one of the Dollar employees saw that coat in the abck seat while they were cleaning, and neglected to turn it in.  If Mark would have done his job and checked the car 30 mintues after we had returned it, the $300+ ski coat would have been sitting right there.  The employees are dishonest, and uninterested in providing any level of customer service.  I will NEVER use Dollar again.
