Dreyer Davidson law Joan Dreyer Mislead me on what was to be a relatively simple proceeding with many unexpected expensive billings langley BC

A simple modest retainer ended up into me being advised with me to sell the house with the funds being depostited into a trust fund with DreyerDavidson until the allocation of assets was decided by the courts ,        Prior to this the judge had recommended a factual disclosure of finances by both parties and highly recommended mediation as he could see that future engagemants with lawyers and courts would deplete a large percentage of the family assets , 

Dreyer after that hearing strongly advised me and used my family members to influence myself  to continue with the process of selling the house and depositing the proceeds into her firms trust account . 

Dreyer continued to play a cat and mouse game with the opposing parties while assuring me that she was hot on the trail of hidden assets by my husband and that I was going to be getting a windfall settlement . Her trail turned up cold , and after multiple searches of financial institutions . business accounts and suppliers there was no tangible evidence of wrongdoing on my spouses part . 

Through the stress of this ordeal I did not always thouroughly read or understand the numerous confusing affadavits written by Dreyer but I realized after that she would alter or distort the contents or exaggerate in her own words in order to cast the other party in a extremely neagative light which continued to fracture any reasonable ways of mediation between my husband and myself

She also gets her staff to swear affadavits which is frowned on by courts 

The end result is that I was awarded less than the last written offer by my spouse along with paying many thousands more in fees . Also a request was made for itemization on the bills and that was ignored also . 

This lawyer is overworked unorganized and overcharges on many uneccessary items 

The final bill was shocking and it was very sad to see that a large amount of family assets went to line the pockets of this law firm coming from the trust account of the sale of the house with little or no thoughts to the future financial well being of my children
