Promoters use Eventbrite to sell tickets to events and festivals. During Covid, promoters were forced to either cancel or postpone events. However, Eventbrite would have suffered major financial losses allowing promoter to give refunds. As a promoter myself, Eventbrite shut down my ability to give refunds to good people and falsely continued to advertise my event and collected money for ticket sales. For almost 1 year I have sent emails, letters, and even showed up to their empty office.

They have not paid for tickets sold or refunded those that should have been refunded. They are unethical and fraudulent. THEY DO NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBER. If you are a promoter that is selling tickets on Eventbrite, STOP BEFORE YOU BECOME A VICTIM. If you are a customer buying tickets for a festival, AVOID USING EVENTBRITE TO BUY TICKETS.
