This person posts fake rental ads (3 bedroom, 2 bath house in San Juan Capistrano, CA for $1299, really?!) online and then when you call, the guy says he can enroll you in a "program" for $40 which grants me all the info I want. I asked what the program is all about, he says, "it's just that: a program"... that was the pitch, i guess? When I asked for the name of the company, they HUNG UP ON ME. That screams SCAM if you ask me. I called 3 times in total, was hung up on twice and put on hold for 15+ minutes the 3rd time. The same guy answered the phone all 3 times.
I took a poorly written paragraph from their website and googled it...and found it on several other sites, also connected to the name Matt Nacar.
Their website is filled with weak writing and 'Investment' fluff that has been copied and pasted from your typical Real Estate/Mortgage chop-shop sites. Lots of pretty stock-photos though. Anyone can put up a website with stock-photos of their "support team". Sounds like they might be just selling data lists of NOD properties, not "rent-to-own" properties with "1-3 year leases" like the the original Craiglist ad that prompted my call. The people who run these types of "businesses" are cockroaches. Shame on them.
