My timeshare was listed for sale with Resort Trader of Orlando, Florida so when a Mr. Michael Harrison of First step funding called me with an offer to buy my timeshare, I thought it was legitimate. He said he had an offer from a Mr. Gary Fisher  of $13,700 to buy my timeshare. He said he had a 20% deposit from the buyer . He emailed me a contract and I signed it and emailed it back to him. He then said he needed a 10% deposit from me which I would get back at closing, to do the title search. He insisted it be a cashier's check or wire transfer, not a credit card. I deposited $1370 into his bank account on March 4th, 2014 which he promply removed. He set up a closing date of April 21,2014. Supposedly a package would arrive at my house by FedEx which would include 40 pages of papers and a check for $13,700. The package never arrived. When I attempted to call him on the phone, the phone was disconnected.
