Ford advetises 41-44 mpg on their 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid. This is totally untrue, don't believe it.

The government made them change this claim last year and Ford not only reimbursed some consumers but also had to refile with a mileage claim of less than the 44-47 originally advertised. The new advertising of 41-44 is still very wrong.

At best, my car gets 33-35 mpg. After many complaints, servicing etc... the Ford dealership in Nokomi, Florida called Mathews-Currie Ford, claimed I was on the low end of the mileage spectrum for most Hybrids but didn't do a thing about it.

They advised me to use crusie control, while driving in the city, can you imagine that?

I had to file the Lemon Law and a Better Bsuiness Bureau report to initiate action. Ford set an appointment for me from their Resolution Center then never showed up after I waited an hour. I had to recontact the Attorney General's Office in Florida who is guiding me through the Better Biusiness Bureau to get to arbitration.

Don't bleieve what Ford advertises - it is false!

The dealer - Mathews-Currie Ford is no better. After this beingmy third new car purchase in 10 years, they are they are quick to forget about you when not selling you. I have documentation from them that will clearly help me in arbitration.

Generic response

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Saturday, October 03, 2015

Well, it is obvious this rebuttal is a GENERIC RESPONSE ( a canned response) that says nothing but the obvious without facts when the person writing it can't prove a thing.

I've owned 4 Fords, all new, never had this problem before. That says a lot. Also, I haven't had a ticket in 30 plus years for this rebuttal's so called "passing cars", "flooring it from a red light" etc...

so who is kidding who here?

Tyrpical Ford Motor company response from some one who KNOWS Ford has this problema nd been provenby class-action suits.

Shame on you. Get a better response next time. By the way, I am STILL getting 34-35 mpg at best and will proveit in Court or at Arbitrator's hearing.

Thanks for helping my cause with this  "canned response".

The Biggest Factor...

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, October 03, 2015

The biggest factor for getting good MPG's on ANY car is the driver!  If you are a driver who just has to pass everybody at any time, floor's it when the light turns green, speeds and general drives the way most people in Florida drive, you will never get good MPG.  Driving for good MPG is a skill most people don't want to do.
