I purchased a car from Ford. I needed a car quickly, my old one, my fourth Ford Vehicle, was falling apart.

I wanted something that you could tow a toy trailer with. I find out after that the 2015 Ford Transit Connect Wagon can not do this, and It did not have the electrical connections either. In addition to that I paid almost $8,000.00 too much for it. In addition to that, the car has Known Braking Problems and it is all over the internet in Forums. The Transmission slips, and the Cruise Control over revs the motor when trying to keep a chosen speed. In addition to that the financing I was hammered with is awful.

Short, Be Careful what you buy, Ford isn't what it used to be.

1. Ford Knowing sells this vehicle even though the Brakes are a common Problem, That should be disclosed by the sales rep. When Buying a New car, one would expect it to perform as a new car, not need immediate service within the first 5,000 miles.

2. Financing, I was told it would be 5%, when I went to Pick it up, after my trade was already processed the rate change to 12%, not my primary concern anyway but it is still a poor sales tactic.

3. I would expect a sales rep when I inform them of What I want the vehicle to do for me, that the FORD sales rep knows more about the vehicles than I do. Why didnt the rep tell me, You Cant tow a Toy Trailer with this car ?

4. $8,000.00 too much ? I will not accept the blame for a Dishonest action by an Authorized Ford Dealership.

Consumers are being taken advantage of everday, It's tiring that Our Country has become a Nation of Lie, Cheat and Steal.

5. Spare me the Nonsense about credit scores, it has never been more clear, that our economy is rigged and everday consumers do not stand a chance against corrupt financial institutions. The Credit Reporting Agencies are a fraud and so is your score, I had an excellent credit score but got ripped off on a mortgage refi Denial, which would have kept me out of the mortage crisis scam, Our reckless and self serving government created.

6. The Transmission Slips and makes a loud Banging noise at 30mph for no reason.

7. The Cruise Control, Stays at a High rpm for too long, could be a software problem, has nothing to do with trying to drive too fast, Im 48, I know a little about how cars should perform, these are too many issues for a new car.

Buyers Remorse!

If YOU paid $8000 too much for it, who's fault is that???  THAT is the price YOU agreed to!  If YOU thought the price was too high, then you walk away.  Nobody forced you to buy this!  The electrical connections...no big deal.  The wiring for towed trailers is done after market all the time!  If you knew about these alleged other problems by your own research, then again, why did you buy it?  Oh yes, then we come to probably the reason for this report...your credit.  The interest rate is determined by YOUR credit reputation.  We EARN a good APR...neither you, me or anyone else is ENTITLED to a low APR.  If your complaints about financing are because of collections calls...simple procedure, make your payments on time and they will never, ever call you.  Oh yes, I don't work for them!

1.  "the Cruise Control over revs the motor when trying to keep a chosen speed" - choose a lower speed if it bothers you. newer cars have to be more efficient, so they have smaller higher revving engines.

2. "I paid almost $8,000.00 too much for it" - your fault for not researching the price.

3. "the financing I was hammered with is awful." - You agreed to the terms and it's your credit that decides your rate. Why not just say no?

4. " In addition to that, the car has Known Braking Problems and it is all over the internet in Forums. The Transmission slips..." - Has this happened to you or are you just searching the internet for potential issues before it has happened to you? If that is the case then maybe wait and see what happens before complaining.

5. "I wanted something that you could tow a toy trailer with. I find out after that the 2015 Ford Transit Connect Wagon can not do this, and It did not have the electrical connections either." - So you didn't research the car to see if it has what you wanted and now you're complaining? Why assume rather than research? How is that Ford's fault?
