FORSTER AND GARBUS Garbage collector's. You can beat them. farmingdale, New York

Forster and Garbus is the garbage of garbage when it comes to collection agencys.  I'm not complaining, I'm writing to give you a heads up if they sue you. 

I was sued by them after they bought a debt from a credit card co.  I told them it wasn't my debt.  They didn't have enough proof and offered for a "discontinuance."  Why was my debt "discontinued"?  Because these garbage collector's have so many cases, they don't know what to do.  I was at 141 livingston st today and looked at the attendance roster for cases that day.  Of the approximately 60 cases, 36 were represented by Forster and Garbus.  36!  Do you think they have proof it is your debt?  Do they have a signature or bank records or any kind that point the finger to you?  Absolutely not!  They have the basics of when the debt was opened and the amount you supposedly owe, but that's about it.  All you have to do is tell them that it is not your debt.  Make them prove it.  Chances are, they won't.  With so many cases, 'Forster and Garbage' is counting on you stepping outside the courtroom and settling with them.  That's where they make their money.

Forster and Garbus buys so many default credit card cases.  They are just looking to play the odds and make some money.  They don't need to win every case....heck they probably don't need to win half the cases.  They do very well as it is.  If you are being sued by them, make them prove to you that it is your debt....even if it is your debt and you know it...still make them prove it! And don't tell them til the last minute that it isn't your debt.  Put the burden of proof on them and hope you have a judge who isn't a p***k.  Some judges don't play by the rules and put the burden of proof on the defendant.....good ole boys club;)
