I decided to buy a car from Garrison Auto Sales without doing all the research on the car first.  I was recommended there by family members.  I found a car that was what I was looking for with a manual transmission and 4 doors.  They worked with us on the down payment and got us into the car.  My father, being a mechanic checked the car out for me and said the only thing it seemed to need was the tires balanced.  When I drove the car off the lot after signing all the paperwork, I only had the car for 6 days before it had to be towed.  I learned to drive in a tractor trailer, so I slip-shift between gears.  The clutch went out on it and they say it was from over-use.  They also said that I put over 600 miles on the car so I checked the entirety of the miles I drove in those 6 days.  My calculations came to 258.64 miles.  They use GPS on the cars and would not access the report of the GPS to show me where the other 341.36 miles were, according to them, forgotten from those 6 days.  They continuously wanted to blame my driving for the clutch, and mechanics that I have talked to said that my driving methods would cause problems with the transmission, and not the clutch.  I talked to my friends mother, who has a PhD in Law, to find out my rights.  She said that due to the contract with no warranty, I do have to pay for the replacement of the clutch, but I also have the right to have the old parts, and the receipts for the new parts.  JR at Garrison decided to sexually harass my wife who has dealt with sexual abuse in the past, and that I don't treat her and our daughter right because I spend so much time with my friends.  I have a lower back injury and emotional problems that qualified me to be a candidate for vocational rehabilitation and also Medicaid in the state of Missouri.  I find it to be bad business ethics that he feels that he can harass my wife and slander me.  He also had the parts changed out and says he sent the old part in to be rebuilt.  He says that he doesn't have to even show the receipts for the parts that were bought for the car that I am purchasing from him.
